Terms of sale
Last updated 1 August 2026.
1. The contract
Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract forms when we email you a despatch confirmation, not when payment is taken. If we cannot fulfil an order we refund in full and explain why.
2. Prices and tax
Prices are in pounds sterling and include UK VAT where applicable. Customers outside the UK may be charged import duty and local tax on delivery; those charges are not ours and we cannot estimate them.
3. Stock and pre-orders
Stock numbers shown on listings are live. Pre-order items are described as such with the atelier's stated cutting window; those windows occasionally move and we will tell you when they do.
4. Measurements
The measurements on a listing are taken by us, flat, on the garment being sold or on an identical piece from the same run. Handmade garments vary by roughly one centimetre between pieces. A variance larger than that counts as not matching the listing and we cover return postage.
5. Cancellation
Under UK consumer law you may cancel within fourteen days of delivery without giving a reason and return the goods unworn with tags. This is in addition to any fault-based right.
6. Faulty goods
If a garment arrives faulty, tell us within thirty days and we will repair, replace or refund at your choice. After thirty days your statutory rights still apply and we will deal with it fairly.
7. Colour and photography
Screens differ. Where a fabric is notably lighter or darker in person than in the listing photograph, we say so in the description — but small colour differences alone are not treated as a fault.
8. Use of this site
Our product photographs and descriptions may not be copied for other shops or resale listings. You may of course share them personally or in coordinate posts.
9. Liability
Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud. Otherwise our liability is limited to the value of the order concerned.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
